The strong commitment from Vivienne for a better environment is translated in the Pourpoint Jacket. Exclusively crafted from scarred leather, a by-product of the meat industry that would normally not meet a company's quality standard, here the leather has been given a second lease of life in the shape of this striking garment. In a rich burgundy hue and fully lined in the custom Pink Leaves print inspired by the Ballet Russes, this very Westwood, archive piece was first presented in the MAN AW 03-04 collection, originally designed from the leather jerkin Medieval knights would wear under their plate armour.
