Woven in the Elgin mill by Johnstonsof Elgin highly skilled crafts men and women; the traditional Blue Tartan Throw is made of pure lambswool in a generous size, perfect for evenings by the fire or summer time picnics. Embroidered with the iconic Orb in a scribbled style and a small Scottish bumblebee, this special piece created for Vivienne Westwood is adorned in the MacAndreas tartan, homage to Vivienne's husband and long term design partner Andreas Kronthaler, created in 1993 for the Gold Label collection entitled 'Anglomania' and officially recognised by Lochcarron of Scotland.
