Description
Finely crafted in Italy in black brush off leather, Vivienne Westwood's extravagant Frame Sandals are detailed with a large frame buckle in polished brass, which is an element taken from A/W 89-90 "Voyage to CCythera". Inspired by the namesake Rococo painting from Watteau, the collection was about a visit to the island of love, being Cythera the Greek island where Aphrodite, goddess of love, beauty and sexuality, was born.
