Description
Referencing the technique of slashing, dating back to the 17th century as a way of imbibing the cloth with a touch of heroism, and first presented by Vivienne in her iconic SS91 "Cut and Slash" collection, the Donkey Coat is crafted from slashed coating in cotton and wool yarn, finished with a unique vintage look thanks to the fraying of the laser cuts during the wash process. Fully lined in quilted World's End print, this statement design was originally favoured by 19th Century workers, and has been purposely crafted for a boxy, oversized fit, clearly echoing Vivienne's unisex aesthetic.
